Black Vintage Style 1930。What a beautiful little tilt hat from the glorious 1930s\'! The hat is made of black felt and consists of a round shape to which a felt covered \"O\" ring has been attached (to keep the hat in a tilted position). At the front and sides there are stunning yellow fabric flowers that make this hat so cheerful. At the top there is a felt bow which secures a piece of veiling which is only for drama, as it does not cover the face. Gorgeous! Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, an extended cap, or a combination of these. 30s Fashion certainly seemed fussier than the 1920s with its relentless ornaments of bows, trims and frills. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years.
