MERRY 1940s。This is a stunning black felt wide brim hat that receives a lot of wows. The round crown is surrounded by an asymmetrically placed wide, upturned brim. The brim is then joined at one side, creating a pointy shape. The front of the brim is trimmed with black sequined appliqués that resemble flowers.There is a sequin band attached around the crown where is meets the brim. the bottom of the crown is also trimmed with sequin & grosgrain bands. Simply amazing! There its an elastic band attached to the inside of the hat to help keep the hat in place. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years.
