Vintage 1920s -1930s Cosmopolitan Straw Boater Hat Black 。This is a unique and beautiful black straw hat. This hat consists of a creatively folded wide strip edged in velour that result in a cap. It creates a brim that folds towards the back and up, leaving two openings at each side of a center peak. To finish the look there are 2 large \"pearls\" at the end of a velour bow. Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting. There is no label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
